Dubai Maritime City (DMC)
The Maritime City will be an artificial peninsula built between
Port Rashid and Dubai Dry Dock linked by a land passage. The city will have all
essential infrastructure facilities for the shipping industry and is expected to
cater to international maritime clientele in the diverse marine services. Vessels
sailing to and from the East and West will find state-of-the-art ship repair and
maintenance services are available within this maritime project.
Dubai Festival City
The Festival City is both a commercial and tourist project, set
up on 1,600 acres area alongside the Dubai creek. The project is designed as a mixed-use
destination, offering entertainment, dining, shopping facilities as well as car
showrooms, a marina, hotels and a golf course.
Dubai Textile City
The Textile City will be set up at Ras Al Khor area as a joint
venture with the textile group Texmas. The one billion US dollars project is designed
to promote Dubai's traditional expertise in the textile business to expand all over
the Middle East, Africa and West Asia. The city will provide resident textile merchants
with the necessary infrastructure including showrooms, warehousing facilities, offices
and more importantly exemption from payment of import custom duties.
Dubai Silicon Oasis

The project is an innovative initiative by the Emirate to diversify
its sources of income and seek universality through technology and knowledge economies.
Through this project, Dubai is attempting to play a key role in the semiconductor
business.
